Terms of Service

If you commission me or purchase any of my YCH’s of any kind, you have agreed to my TOS.
Whether you actually read it or not, I’ll make the assumption that you did and you have to go by it.

I reserve rights to the commissioned illustration. Meaning that I reserve the rights to print it for promotional uses. I may post it to DA, FA, my portfolio, etc.

I reserve the rights to decline any commission for any reason.

What you may and may not do with the art.

You may not sell or use the artwork I have created for you for profit in any way.
You may not recolor the artwork or modify it in any other way.
However, you may crop your character in group pictures and for icons, but please do link back to the original image if you upload it this way.

You may re-post the art anywhere online as long as you provide proper credit in the form of a link back to my DA/FA pages, and the signature is intact.
You may under no circumstances remove my signature from the artwork.
You are free to print it out for personal use, and personal use only. Cannot be printed out for profit.

You can’t give away or sell the art I make for you to a third party. This means that if you decide to sell or give away your character, the art I provided to you can not be included as part of a package.
The artwork is made for you, and you only. (Buying the art as a gift for a friend is completely OK.)

Payments and Refunds.

Payment is made upfront. I do not start any art until payment has been made.
All payments are to be made in USD. I will not accept payment in any other currencies.

I accept payment plans. But do keep in mind that you will not receive your picture until the full payment has been made.
Do not ask for discounts or try to make me lower my prices. This is an insult and if you are rude about it, I may not accept any commissions from you in the future.

If your character is overly complex, an extra charge will be added. This includes multiple tails, wings, complex patterns and complex clothing.
You may request a full refund regardless of the progress of the art if I can’t finish it within my 2 month deadline.

If you want a refund at any other time during the making of your art, a full refund cannot be provided.
But you will get a full refund if I personally choose to cancel the commission at any time.

If you request a refund prior to the deadline, I’ll give you a refund based on how much progress I’ve made. If it’s a sketch, I’ll keep what I’d charge for that.
This means – if I’m already shading it, a refund can’t be given out.

WIP’s, Edits & Changes.

I will not provide WIP’s for any commissions under $50. This is to speed up my art progress.
If your commission is below $50, and you’d still like WIP’s, you may pay the difference and I’ll treat it as a $50 commission.

I do not give out WIP’s for any of my YCH’s. This is because you’ve already seen the sketch when it was posted. They’re cheaper than regular commissions to skip the WIP process.
It is your responsibility to give me clear character references and descriptions so that I get it right in first place.

If you want to alter your commission idea after it has been paid for, you may be asked for an additional charge if the complexity of it has been changed.
If I have already started the sketch of the first idea, you’ll be charged extra as well due to a major change.

Up to three small edits can be made for free on any commissioned artwork. Any bigger edits or changes will be charged.
Any mistakes that are my fault, such as me not noticing something on the reference sheet, will be edited for free.

Deadlines

All commissions have a deadline of two months from the payment, unless stated otherwise.
Usually my commissions are done much sooner than this, depending on my current queue and the complexity of the art. Delays may happen now that I am a mother, so please do not commission me unless you are willing to wait.

If it takes longer than two months, you will be given the option of a full refund no matter how far I’ve gotten on the art.
If you want a piece of art with a shorter deadline (1-3 weeks), I might be able to do it. But I will have to charge extra to work on it outside my normal work hours.
